Wonderful Jaque Fath label dress that really is a spin on the archives. The Fath label was re-launched in the 1990s and it did a good job of staying true to the archives but with a nineties twist. Fath especially loved pleat work and you can see that influence here with the fabric choice. The dress has a saloon girl sexiness to it and to be honest at first glace it looks like an older Fath piece! Love the deep dipping back and the high neck front. It has a white collar that attaches with hidden snaps - you can style it with or without this piece! White ribbon piping give it length and the ruffle peeking out from under the skirt is divine! Excellent, appears unworn condition!
Fully lined in a deep blue silk. that is hand set There is elastic lining the back so it adjusts to fit against the body. The skirt has an additional attached layer of fine woven silk gauze organza that ends in that lower layer of white ruffles you see peeking out from under the skirt. It closes with hook & eye at the back of the neck and a zipper cleverly hidden under one of the back piped seams. This was made to order so can be considered demi-couture.
